Your size, your format

Windows: 45, 60, 80, 100, 120 or 140 cm wide, 150 cm high. French windows: 80, 90, 120 or 140 cm wide, 220 cm high. A blind slightly taller than your window works fine: it stops wherever you want. For any other size, choose “Made to measure” and enter your measurements to the millimetre.

Light & privacy

Both versions have a honeycomb structure: they filter light and block prying eyes. Essentiel softens the light. Cocoon Cell®, with its thermal layer, blocks it out, keeps the warmth in during winter and holds the heat back in summer.

Materials & finishes

Pleated honeycomb fabric, rails and handle in the colour of the fabric, stoorz logo engraved on the bottom bar. You move the blind with the handle: pull it down, push it up, and it stays at the height you choose.

Fitting & care

No tools, no drilling: a very strong adhesive strip is already on the top rail. Clean the top of your window frame, peel off the protective film and press the rail along its whole length. Just check that your window handle can still move freely. Every blind comes with instructions.

For care, a gentle dusting is enough; full instructions are in the leaflet.

A cocoon of air, lined with a thermal layer.

Each honeycomb cell traps air, like a puffer jacket for your window. In Cocoon Cell®, a thin layer of thermal fabric also lines the inside of the cells: it blocks the light and limits heat exchange between the glass and the room, in both directions.

    Measure and choose your size

    Clean the top of the frame

    Adhesive loves clean, dry, dust-free surfaces: wipe the top of the frame with a cloth and let it dry well.

    Peel off the film

    Peel the protective film off the adhesive strip on the top rail.

    Position and press

    Place the rail at the top of your window frame, nice and straight, then press it firmly along its whole length.

    It’s fitted

    Pull the handle on the bottom bar and set the height: your blind is ready.

What if I get a measurement wrong?

Follow the measuring guide: it shows you what to measure, in a few minutes. In a standard size, a blind slightly taller than your window works fine: it stops wherever you want. For made to measure, we go over your measurements with you and confirm them before production starts.

Does it really hold without drilling?

Yes. The top rail comes with a very strong adhesive strip, already fitted. Clean and dry the top of your window frame, peel off the protective film and press the rail along its whole length. No screws, no drill.

Will it fit my window?

The rail sticks to the top of your window frame, as close to the glass as possible: the blind becomes part of the window and, in principle, opens with it. Before ordering, check that the handle can move freely and the space needed to open your window.

Tilt-and-turn window, unusual frame, protruding handle, bare wood or fresh paint? We’d rather check with you than make you a promise at random: send a photo from the front and from the side, with your measurements, to hello@stoorz.com.

I rent my home, is that OK?

That’s exactly what it’s made for: no screws, no holes, neither in the wall nor in your window frame.

How is it different from a classic pleated blind?

A classic pleated blind is a single layer of fabric. A honeycomb blind has two walls joined together: each pleat forms a cell that traps air. That still air insulates, a bit like double glazing made of fabric.

With Cocoon Cell®, a thin thermal layer also lines the inside of the cells: it blocks the light and limits heat exchange.

What about children at home?

The blind is operated by the handle on its bottom bar: no hanging operating cord. As with any window fitting, keep an eye on little ones and follow the instructions.

How do I look after it?

Gentle dusting is enough: a feather duster or a soft brush, with the blind lowered. Full instructions depend on the fabric: they are in the instructions and on the technical sheet.
