Toukan was born out of a simple annoyance: why does travel data cost the price of FOMO?
The problem we wanted to solve
The travel eSIM market was built on two pitfalls: the out-of-bundle charges abroad from traditional operators, billed per megabyte at exorbitant rates, and the "unlimited" plans from specialists, sold at a high price to travelers who actually consume 500 MB to 1 GB per day. In between: paying for an all-you-can-eat buffet to eat a salad.
Our answer
- Data at the price of data: gigabyte plans, starting from €3.50, valid for 30 days, rechargeable with one click. And an unlimited plan ~30% cheaper than the competition for those who dread counting.
- Hotspot included, everywhere: blocking tethering in 2026 is a strange life choice. Not ours.
- Human support, in French, 7/7: because a connection issue should be resolved in minutes, not tickets.
- Connected or refunded: if we can't get you connected, we refund you. In full.
How it works behind the scenes
Toukan relies on agreements with international telecom operators and aggregators: in each country, your eSIM connects to the best local networks (NTT Docomo in Japan, AT&T in the United States, Turkcell in Turkey…). You buy, you scan a QR code, you land connected — 190+ countries covered.
Who are we?
Toukan is published by CYBER LINKS LLC and managed by a team of travelers who have used enough local SIMs, rental pocket Wi-Fi devices, and received enough hefty phone bills upon their return to know exactly what they never wanted to experience again. Touki, our mascot, was born somewhere between two layovers — he never pays out-of-bundle charges, and neither will you now.
